Strength And Hypertrophy Training
Whether you're a male or female resistance sessions burn excessive calories, boosts your metabolism and help sculpt your ideal physique. Strength and hypertrophy training consists of going though movements with a resisted force. This can include dumbbells, barbells, machines, bands, suspension ropes or just body weight. It doesn't just have to be plain old 3 sets of 10 reps either! At Studio Athletica you will experience a range of different training techniques proven to get you results.
Boxing is a great way to complement any training routine and build confidence. With a focus on coordination and cardiovascular health each session will challenge you mentally and physically. The advantage of working one on one with your trainer is that no matter what your skill level is you get a great challenging session each time.
One last thing.. The smell of our gloves wont make you feel sick! They are cleaned with anti bacterial after each use so rest assured they smell nice and fresh!
Pilates Mat and Reformer
Pilates is an excellent, low impact way to exercise. No matter who you are or what style of training you do, chances are you can benefit from a little bit of pilates training. At Studio Athletica we use both Pilates Mat and Reformer to either assist your training routine, from muscle activation, core work and rehab to complete 1 hour one on one sessions with your personal trainer.
If you want to tone that core or reduce your lower back pain.. Pilates is for you.
High Intensity Training
With so many places offering HIIT classes you can be forgiven to assume that this training should be a
necessity in your routine. High intensity training sessions can be delivered in a number of ways, at Studio Athletica you have your own personal trainer watching over you and full use of our private studio to
incorporate numerous machines and equipment not usually available in a traditional high intensity class. With the full attention of a personal trainer you not only just the feeling of your cardiovascular system racing but a receive a very specific and targeted routine to work your muscles, improve strength and avoid injury.
Post Operative Training
Under the guidance of Dr. Miroshnik, Studio Athletica offers both online and in studio options for exercise after cosmetic and plastic surgery. In our unique training studio we ensure that your transition back to full intensity exercise is private, safe and enjoyable.
Exercise after Breast Augmentation
With breast augmentation surgery we are able to commence your medically approved 12 week exercise programme as early as just 2-3 weeks post operation. Not only do we keep you active during your recovery maintaining your figure and ensuring all that hard work in the gym will not go to waste but we also include an important rehabilitation aspect, so that when your programme is finished you are cleared to resume your usual workout routine.
Exercise after Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
With abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) surgery we are able to commence your medically approved 12/24 week exercise programme as early as just 6 weeks post operation. Regardless of your situation, whether you are a new mother or just had a little nip tuck, we will transform your gym workout into an in depth post-op rehab regime. We will treat the after effects of diastasis recti (ab separation) and get the most out of your new core strength and realignment of the abdominals, keeping you fit and confident with your new figure.
